Lexapro, Paxil, Zoloft, Celexa, Prozac & Effexor During Pregnancy Linked to Increased Risk of Birth Defects

Recent scientific testing has revealed significant evidence linking the use of certain antidepressant drugs with multiple different types of birth defects. The drugs that are potentially causing these birth defects are known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs. SSRI antidepressants include drugs such as Zoloft, Prozac, Paxil, Effexor, Celexa, and Lexapro.
